Design and analysis of conical rotary compressor

چکیده

Conical Rotary Compressor (CRC) is a screw type Positive Displacement Machine (PDM) consisting of one inner rotor rotating inside an outer rotor. The conical internal meshing rotors with the feature variable pitch and profile have inherent capability to operation at high pressure ratio due built-in volume low leakage. CRC has potential run in various applications such as Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning (HVAC) system, vacuum pumps, air compressors. performance machine heavily affected by geometry. In this paper, non-parallel axis firstly introduced according current successful design manufacture practice, then parallel are based on theory. Then, geometrical parameters line length, cross section area, chamber relative velocity analysed. Finally, experiments were conducted under different up 26 flow rate, specific power, volumetric efficiency, isentropic efficiency compared. As result study, could maintain level wide range ratio. Improvement compressor can be made limit increases temperature, reduce increase overall machine.
